God’s Ode to the Far East

What does the face of love
Look like to me?
Her face –
Is one of God’s poems,
An ode to the far east.
In the early morning
God whispers to me
As I watch her asleep.
He says,
“Am I not greater
Than all other artists?
I sculpted her
In the depths of my imagination
And put her here in your life.
She is a royal daughter of Eve,
Treat her thus.
She is a jewel,
Like no other.
Dark and soft,
But full of light.
Love her
As I love you.
To your own death,
And into eternity.”
